To celebrate the close of 2011 and welcoming the New Year, Snapseed has once again been made absolutely FREE. If you haven’t downloaded this app already, do. I downloaded it the last time the price dropped and I’ve loved it since I first tried it.
In fact, it’s practically become the only software of any kind I use now to edit my photos. Plus, if you upload your photos with a camera connector (such as this one sold here by Apple, which I thoroughly have set my eye on) it also processes RAW images using iOS RAW processing.
Click after the jump to see some examples of photos I’ve edited with Snapseed.
Here are some examples of photos I’ve edited with Snapseed: (the leaf one, which I did for Capture the Word, was the very first)

Only iPhone photos, right, Zoe? Not any photos? Will share on Facebook, but wanted to make sure first.
An iPhone is going on my 2012 vision board.

Hi Shirley, thanks for spotting that! Snapseed is for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad only. I generally use it more on my iPad because I can see more detail on the bigger screen, although for my eye makeup photos (for example) I used it on my iPod touch.
That is amazing that those were done within an app and not a camera filter. Plus, you can’t beat the price right now. Thanks for the heads up!
Hi K, it’s such a great app that I had to share! Grab it while you can.
